Guest access
This building does not support self check-in. A host will personally meet you on arrival to hand over keys and assist with the required registration at the front desk.
For safety and comfort, the building operates secure access control:
Access tags are provided for the main lobby, rooftop facilities, and parking garage (where applicable)
The parking garage allows vehicle access only via remote control; there is no pedestrian access through the garage
Visitors must use the intercom at the main entrance to call the apartment and are required to sign in and out at reception
Each booking includes a limited number of access tags. Any additional guests must sign in and out with building security each time they enter or exit. These procedures help maintain a secure and peaceful environment for all residents and guests.

**Booker Identification**
In line with VRBO policy, the person making the booking must be one of the guests staying in the apartment.
South African law also requires us to collect identification details for the booker and all guests. This is completed through an online check-in process prior to arrival.

**Arrival and Access**

**What's Included in Your Stay**
To help you settle in comfortably, we provide:
- A starter supply of tea, coffee, and sugar
- Initial toilet paper and basic shower amenities
- Weekly cleaning and linen change for bookings of 9 nights or longer
**Electricity Usage**
Your stay includes 15 units (kWh) of electricity per day, which is generally sufficient with reasonable use (for example, a heater in winter or a fan in summer).
For reference, conventional heaters typically use approximately 1.5 units per hour when running continuously.
If you prefer to use additional heating or cooling, electricity top-ups can be arranged at any time. The current City of Cape Town rate is R4.94 per unit, and any unused top-up units will be refunded after check-out.
**Gas**
A gas heater is provided in the apartment.
One gas refill is included every 14 days during winter, if needed. Additional refills can be arranged at an extra cost.
**Loadshedding**
The building does not always experience loadshedding. When it does:
- Wi-Fi is supported by a backup battery
- A building generator operates the lifts and security systems
**Smoking**
The building is strictly non-smoking, including inside the apartment, on the balcony and all common areas such as the rooftop.
**Rooftop and Swimming Pool**
Access hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM
No smoking
No glassware
No alcohol in the pool area
**Braai''s/BBQ**
Braai facilities are available on the rooftop.
To access the braai area:

A refundable deposit of R600 (subject to change) is required
A key will be issued for the selected braai station
Plastic picnic flatware is provided in the apartment for rooftop use. Please do not take glass items or bottles to the rooftop and follow all building rules for shared spaces.
**Babies**
If you are travelling with an infant, a travel cot with mattress and a feeding chair are available on request. Please let us know at the time of booking so these can be prepared in advance.
