Beautiful location, huge space (for up to 9 people) with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Ivar was a super friendly and accommodating host. Amazing forest views even with a small waterfall. Excellent location for hiking and reaching Svartisen glacier.

Exceptional stay – we can’t wait to come back! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. The accommodation was exceptionally well equipped, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family holiday. We especially appreciated that all five children’s beds were already made when we arrived – such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The views were simply breathtaking. Looking out over the mountains, the waterfall, and the lake with graceful swans was unforgettable. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He took the time to share the fascinating history of his ancestral home, making our stay even more memorable and authentic. The location is excellent if you’re planning to visit the Svartisen Glacier, but it’s also worth staying here just to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and spectacular scenery. If we could, we would give this place 11 out of 10! We definitely plan to come back and stay longer next time. Highly recommended!
