Bay Marina

We stayed in Sri Lanka for approximately 8 days, and 4 of those days were at Bay Marina Hotel. Before coming, we looked at many different hotels, and despite being newly opened, we decided to choose this one. From the moment we entered the hotel, everything provided to us was incredibly professional and well-organized. We were even welcomed with a fresh coconut at check-in, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were very clean, and the bathrooms and showers were excellent. We also cannot go without mentioning the hotel owner. He responded to all our needs and questions with incredible kindness and efficiency. In fact, because my wife was so eager to see elephants, he even took us into the wilderness by tuk-tuk so we could have the chance to see them. Considering the hotel’s location, cleanliness, room quality, and the kindness of the owner and staff, we highly recommend staying here. You should definitely choose this place! 10/10!

The hotel is new and was very clean. We really liked our stay and felt comfortable. The staff was always around and really friendly and helpful. It’s close to the beach and we would stay here again. Big recommendation!

The room was brand new and everything felt high end and expensive. The bathroom had an amazing premium feeling to it, I really really enjoyed it. Amazing comfortable beds that were so soft I wanted to sleep all day! Like… really. I can’t begin to explain how great that bed was. I’m still thinking about it after leaving 😂 The managers were fantastic and staff so kind and helpful with everything you need. I will come back for sure!

We had a very pleasant stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. As it's a new hotel, you can tell how much effort the owner puts into making his guests feel welcome. He was always available, gave us lots of helpful tips about the surrounding area, and really went out of his way to fulfill all our wishes. The hotel was very clean and offered everything we needed for our stay. The location is also excellent. The town center with its restaurants, cafes, and everything else you could need is just a few minutes away. Despite this central location, we always felt welcome and well taken care of. We were especially pleased that the owner offered to take us to Elephant Rock, which gave us a wonderful experience. We even received a small gift upon departure – a very nice gesture that we hadn't expected at all. Due to its central location, it can occasionally be a bit noisy. We were aware of this, and anyone who isn't bothered by that will certainly feel comfortable here. Overall, we were completely satisfied. The warm hospitality, cleanliness, and central location made our stay very pleasant. Many thanks to the entire team – we wish the hotel continued success!
