Ash Tree Hotel

Locatie, dicht bij elisabeth lijn, dlr, london city airport

Er was geen toiletpapier, geen handdoek voor de vaatwas, geen wijnglazen (alleen maar twee grote waterglazen). Het Beresford square is 's avonds niet veilig

modern and clean, with a good size bathroom and bedroom. great location for Woolwich Works and Woolwich underground station. A good sized fridge with freezer compartment, and microwave for cooking a ready meal. the property is situated in a nice area where they sell street food, and close to a couple of nice looking pubs and M&S food as well. The river is only a 5 minute walk.

My room didn't have a table and chairs to sit at which was a shame as you would expect that in an aparthotel which has a microwave and kitchenette area. A Large wardrobe blocked the majority of the cupboards which was a bit of a small detail as I was in the eaves so a smaller chest of drawers situated elsewhere in the room may have been a better choice. I was provided with washing up liquid but no cloth to wash up with! The main doors to the rooms don't shut properly so you have to bang them shut which made it quite noisy. The lift was out of service and I was on the third floor so I had to carry heavy luggage up and down. Though the general building is quiet, the square and location near a busy road creates some outdoor noise, so you may want to bring ear plugs!

Recently refurbished building - studio apartment was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a nice bathroom. Despite being on a busy street the double glazing kept out most of the noise.

A few minor points - no luggage rack, no coathooks and no hanging rail in wardrobe. A towel hook beside the bath would be helpful too. Mattress wasn't really up to the quality of the rest of the room There was obviously a problem with the drains/sewage system creating a bad smell in the entrance hall which occasionally made it to the rooms on the first floor

Location

Very noisy and elevator was not working
