Welcome to Little Bird, an elegant Georgian townhouse tucked in the heart of Deal's conservation area, just 150 yards from the beach and independent high street. Set across four floors, Little Bird has been thoughtfully refurbished with real care, every detail considered and chosen with comfort in mind. On the ground floor, the sitting room is anchored by a log burner and flows naturally into the bright and glossy blue kitchen, which opens through double doors onto a sheltered courtyard with bistro seating - a lovely spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. The two bedrooms are spread across the upper floors, each with their own character. The first floor king bedroom is calm and well-proportioned, while the top floor room is the one guests tend to mention, open to the rafters, full of light and with the kind of atmosphere that only a room tucked under the eaves of a Georgian townhouse can properly deliver. The basement adds another dimension entirely, with a dining room and table for four that gives the house a sociable lower ground floor space, ideal for long slow breakfasts or evening meals in. The house sleeps four comfortably with, two king bedrooms, comfortable mattresses and Egyptian cotton linen, a very well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, Smart TV and log burner - Little Bird has been thoughtfully designed to make you feel like you are home from home. It works equally well for two couples, a small family or a couple who simply want a little more space to themselves. One of the bedrooms can also be split into singles, making it a flexible option for families or friends. A word worth knowing: like many of Deal's finest Georgian townhouses, the stairs here are curved, narrow and characterful, part of the house's considerable charm, but worth bearing in mind if stairs are a concern. Deal itself is on the doorstep with its pebble beach, the pier, the brilliant independent high street and some of the best cafés and restaurants in East Kent all within an easy walk. London is just over an hour by train. It is, in short, exactly the kind of place you come for a long weekend and start quietly planning to return to before you've even unpacked.

Accessibility
The house is set across four floors with three flights of stairs, which are curved and narrow in places, full of character but worth bearing in mind for those with limited mobility. Handrails are fitted throughout and night lights are provided. A stair gate is available on request for families with young children.

Parking
Free on street parking is available a short distance from the property. We recommend unloading at the house first and then parking nearby. You won't ned to use the car when you are here as independent food shops and supermarkets are nearby. There are regular bus and train services within a 5-10 minute walk from the house.

Things you need to know
Check-in is from 3pm and check out is by 10am.
Sleeps 4 across two king size bedrooms. Bedroom one can be configured as two single beds on request, please let us know at the time of booking.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Egyptian cotton bed linen provided throughout.
High speed Wi-Fi and Smart TV with Netflix.
Log burner in the sitting room.
Washer/dryer in the kitchen.
A starter pack of sundries is provided including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, toilet roll and kitchen roll.
Infant friendly - travel cot, highchair, potty, baby gate and baby step available on request.
The shower room has a shower with a separate attachment, but no bath. There is an inflatable baby bath available on request for little ones.

Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please note quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Please be respectful to neighbours.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
