In my opinion, there are ridiculous procedures that fail to take into account that the person is tired, just back from a trip, and hungry. These are points they should consider very important and relevant. First, the line at the front desk to check in. Then I went up alone and had to find the house without anyone’s help. After that, I had to go through another registration process that took two hours. I complained about the delay, and the man told me that if I didn’t complete it, he wouldn’t give me the keys because guests steal things. Because of that, I didn’t check in until almost 5:00 p.m., even though I’d arrived at the location at 2:40 p.m. Isn’t there another way so that honest people don’t have to pay for others’ mistakes? There were so many steps involved just to get the keys. It was really, really off. Stores were closing because they had to fill out their paperwork, especially since it was Sunday. I told the man several times that I had to go to the pharmacy and that it was about to close, but he just kept repeating that if I didn’t finish, he wouldn’t give me the keys. Never in my entire life of traveling have I gone through what I went through at this place. The wait was so long that I’ll never go back there to go through the same thing again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends either. The owners set check-in for 3:00 p.m., which I think is way too late. They should adjust that time, considering that check-out is at 10:00 a.m. The only thing I liked was the location, though honestly, since I had a car, it didn’t make any difference to me.

I hated the check-in process, and considering there are cameras and security, how do microwaves get through, as you mentioned? They should pay someone to do the inspection when guests check out, but they shouldn't mistreat the guests.

comfy unit BUT when advertise entire unit is wheelchair friendly isn't fully accurate -- you can get into the bathroom with wheelchair but with difficulty! The security guard VINCENT was fantastic helping us with the wheelchair and into lifts etc!

didn't like the booking in system/ too tedious and needs to be told you've got to go through a process etc AND then still get charged extra for cleaning (and unit was not cleaned while we were there so not sure what we paid for) AND then once you've booked then also get the mail about the breakage fee/deposit etc - or pay an extra R400 --- this wasn't stated anywhere!
