About this villa rental
Kia Orana! Welcome to Muri Ocean View Villas. We are a locally owned and operated property, elevated on the Muri hillside to give you a clear, panoramic view of the lagoon while keeping you away from the noise of the main road.
If you are looking for a modern, clean, and independent base for your Rarotonga getaway, we’ve built these villas with you in mind.
The Villa: Modern Studio Living
Our villas feature a spacious open-plan studio layout. Instead of cramped separate rooms, we’ve designed a large, airy space that flows from the kitchen and sleeping area right out to the deck.
The View: This is the highlight. The large sliding glass doors mean you can see the turquoise waters of Muri Lagoon and the motus (islets) right from your bed.
The Bed: A comfortable Super King bed with quality linens. (Note: We can split this into two singles upon request).
Entertainment: We’ve installed a Smart TV, so you can easily log into your own Netflix, YouTube, or apps for a movie night.
Full Kitchen: We also have a proper kitchen with an induction cooktop, full-sized fridge/freezer, and microwave—perfect for those who want to cook at home with fresh local ingredients.
Private Laundry: Each villa has its own washing machine and dryer, which is a huge plus for longer stays.
Two Identical Villas
You might see two listings for our property that look exactly the same—that’s because they are! We have two identical villas side-by-side. Both offer the same modern finish, the same layout, and the same incredible ocean views. Whether you book "Villa Te Vara" or "Villa Te Kirava," you’re getting the exact experience shown in the photos.
The Location
We are tucked away on Angaiare Drive, giving you peace and privacy, but you’re still in the heart of everything:
5-Minute Walk: Takes you down to the beach for snorkeling, lagoon cruises, and swimming.
The Food: You’re just a short stroll from the famous Muri Night Market, as well as local cafes and the 24-hour grocery store.
Convenience: Car and scooter rentals are right at the bottom of the hill.
