Location is great close to coffee shop in the morning and beach access just across the road. Great property for money on well maintained grounds. Hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. We had milk, juice, bread, butter and selection of local fresh fruit waiting for us on arrival. Property has swimming pool and playgrounds at the back yard which kids spent lots of time in and on. . Water cooler and potable water on tap. BBQ and beach towels. Owners also own car rental business and have sorted us out with a vehicle on short notice and at good price. Thank you for letting us stay there. We had a great time. Kia Orana.
Roosters. These birds are everywhere on the island and will start yelling at random times, even through the night. Two or three of them liked to hang out on the tree outside of one of the bedrooms window.

Everything! We had the best experience staying at this island holiday house. The location is great, and the house is very spacious with three large bedrooms. The beautiful garden and BBQ decking area were perfect for relaxing, and we enjoyed using the kayaks almost every day. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the kitchen had all the essential supplies we needed. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway! The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay

Lovely recently renovated and sparkling clean villa, great pool. Lovely gardens.
Lovely tropical fruit on arrival along with bread, milk and juice in the fridge.
Things that were stated as available in the booking.com ad, pre arrival email and email enquiry, were actually not available. Eg tumble dryer, bed linen, pantry staples, rubbish bin liners, teaspoons, coffee plunger, beach chairs.... On request coffee, tea salt/pepper, cooking oil, marmite were promptly supplied. Other things were not. . The owner told us frequently he was very busy and it felt like a nuisance to repeat our requests.
The pool had a lot of plant material in the bottom on arrival, this was not cleaned at all during our 10 day stay with 2 young children. We ended up cleaning it ourselves.
The ants in one bathroom were prolific and we ended up buying spray to deal with these.
There were no brochures, maps or guest information.
While these were all inconveniences it was disappointing for accommodation at $500 a night and impacted our family holiday.
