The thatched cottage at Wildhagen 2 captivates with its stunningly beautiful and peaceful location in a small valley between Eckernförde and Kappeln. Surrounded by pastures and a small grove, you can enjoy unspoiled nature here and watch the lively wildlife traffic every evening.

The cottage has been completely renovated, yet it has lost none of its cozy charm. Solid wood floors, wooden windows, and carefully selected antiques create a unique living atmosphere. The living room, with its high ceiling and abundance of natural light, is truly one-of-a-kind. This space used to be the barn, which once housed up to eight cows.

During the renovation, the barn was skillfully integrated into the house complex—giving the home its very modern flair. Here, old and new are masterfully interwoven. The cottage is ideal for families with several children or small groups seeking nature and tranquility.

The spacious garden is perfect for sunbathing—or simply for watching the animals.

The outbuilding houses a high-quality sauna with a panoramic window. From here, you’ll enjoy a unique view of the pastures and fields.

Waabs Beach is about five kilometers away and can be reached by bike in about 15 minutes. Modern amenities include a TV, stereo system, a well-equipped kitchen, and Wi-Fi
(fiber-optic connection).

Bed linens and towels are provided.

You can book access to the sauna during the booking process under the “Services” section. We offer a flat rate for the entire stay. It is billed per day and per house and allows each guest to use the sauna as often and whenever they like.
