Here, guests can take in uninterrupted views across the beach and bay below. Whether basking in the sunshine with a morning coffee, enjoying post-beach drinks with family and friends, or settling in to watch the sun disappear beneath the horizon, this is a space designed to make the most of its remarkable setting.
Mermaid 3's upper floor bedrooms are all beautifully furnished with quality bedding and comfortable interiors, offering relaxing spaces to retreat to after a day spent on the beach or exploring St Ives. Contemporary bathrooms with sleek fittings and clean-lined design add to the space on offer.
Bamaluz Beach sits just below the property and, being quieter than some of the town's larger beaches, offers a more peaceful spot by the sea while welcoming dogs all year round. The Harbour is quite literally a stone's throw from the front door, while Fore Street's collection of restaurants, delis, bakeries and galleries can be reached within five minutes on foot. Neighbouring Porthgwidden Beach is just a three-minute stroll away, while Porthmeor Beach, its popular café and the Tate St Ives are around six minutes from the property.
Mermaids is a five-story home which can be booked as two individual holiday cottages, Mermaids accommodates parties of up to 10. Mermaids 3 is the upper half of the house and is kept completely private from the downstairs property, when booked on its own.

1 dog accepted: Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per dog per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.
We ask our guests for a £200 Good Housekeeping Bond, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterward if there is no damage. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Alternatively, a one-off, non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £30 can be added to your booking to replace the Good Housekeeping Bond and can be added as an extra when processing your booking.
