Step inside the property to discover a charming spacious living and dining area which benefits from a T.V (including a chrome cast device), a fully equipped separate kitchen with direct access to a private outdoor terrace which overlooks the valley. Ideal for al fresco dining and morning coffees. Upstairs, you’ll find three generously sized, light-filled bedrooms designed with your comfort in mind and three bathrooms 2 ensuite with showers and one larger bathroom with bath and separate shower each fully equipped with a hairdryer and towels included. The third-floor bedroom in particular is a stunning private room with a queen-size bed sat under wooden beamed ceilings with ensuite facilities.
There is also a large outdoor lounge area complete with a barbecue, outdoor kitchen facilities, and wine cooler. There is also a collection of books if you fancy a read, or a selection of board games/outdoor cricket and badminton sets. An ideal area to just chill during those long, warm summer evenings under the stars or to enjoy a glass of wine with friends in front of the large open fireplace with plenty of wood provided.
Private parking is available onsite, and for your convenience, the car park is equipped with electric car charging points. WiFi is also included with signal available throughout the property and arround the pool area.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, in the hamlet of Grives, close to a selection of various picturesque medieval villages within the surrounding Dordogne Valley such as Pays-de-Belvès (6km) with its unique architectural and underground layers. Punctuated by The Seven Bell Towers that appear unexpectantly as you look across the green horizon, Discover the Troglodyte Cave Dwellings located 6 meters below the main market square. Or why don't you go and visit Chateau de Castelnaud-la-Chapelle which this gite is named after. Alternatively go visit one of the beautiful towns or hamlets which are located only a short drive away - La Roque-Gageac (11km), Beynac-et-Cazenac (10km), Domme (12km), Limeuil (20km), Sarlat (27km).

For families who are seeking different types of activities and attractions there are plenty of other things to do. You can go canoeing, paddleboarding and kayaking which are located along the Dordogne River near Cénac-et-Saint-Julien, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle and La Roque-Gageac. Several operators offer trips on the quieter Vézère River near La Bugue also. There are a selection of attractions, located at La Bugue (26km) close by too where you can easily spend the whole day, like the Le Parc du Bornat and the L'Aquarium du Périgord Noir.
