Self contained, Secret Garden Bunker in Whitstable

A lovely little self contained room, small kitchenette and a spacious bathroom. It was well decorated and had lots of little nice touches

Taryn and Nik were excellent hosts and happened to be at the key safe when we arrived, so personally handed over the keys to the bunker, which was lovely to meet our hosts! They showed us to the bunker, down a small alley to the side of the property where there is a seperate locked gate giving access to the bunker. What a treat! The bunker/chalet was large and benefitted from a wonderful (and much-needed) air conditioner! The large bed was so comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. The small bathroom provided everything we needed. Exceptional touches like shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as tea, coffee and sugar were super-impressive! There was also a small fridge where fresh milk, water and yoghurts were waiting for us. The accomodation is within walking distance of the seafront - probably a 20 minute slow saunter, but taxis/Ubers are easy to get. All in all, it was a special stay and with really charming hosts we cannot wait to return - THANK YOU Taryn and Nik - you have a WONDERFUL property! :-)

Our only comment would be that we wish there had been a small box of tissues. But this is our ONLY criticism - everything was perfect!
