Villa Varenna - Terrazza sul Lago

la ubicacion es perfecta y la casa muy comoda y espaciosa

The location was great in that it was a 15min walk to town. The size of the place was relatively huge - with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms - great for a family reunion. The views were nothing short of magnificent. You can easily spend the day inside the house without leaving and just chill and write poetry all day. I put in some photos of views from the house - and many of the rooms had this view!

The walk up the hill with luggage is doable, but expect to need a shower after reaching the house. There were no kitchenware for the oven. No mitts, or baking pans, or pizza trays. That basically rendered the oven almost useless. Also, a few simple things like salt and pepper shaker, tin foil, wax baking paper, plastic food wrap, and some more stirring spoons and spatulas would be nice. Probably the biggest concern is for families with toddlers. There is no railing and only partial railing on the two indoor stairs. As well, the railing that is there has the bars wide apart, so a toddler can easily fall through. (I wouldn’t stay here if you have toddlers - unless they put in a new railing) - see photos.

Beautiful views from the property, it was clean, comfortable and looks like it was recently renovated. Very spacious especially travelling with a large group. Not too far from the station which is convenient. Check in process was so efficient and lovely staff who were very friendly. Photos are exactly how the property looks!

The number of towels they provided was less than the number of people staying there, and despite us paying extra guest fees. We also requested for it specifically but it wasn’t provided after that as well.
