We're thrilled to host you at our cozy getaway in Fredericksburg, TX! Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, The Lucky Ones is your perfect escape into natural beauty, wine country charm, and small-town soul. Whether you’re here for a relaxing retreat, a wedding celebration, or a weekend wine tour, we hope you feel right at home in our home. This is our vacation retreat, and we’re so happy to share it with you. Full Kitchen. 1 King, 1 Q / 2 Bath. Dog Friendly.
The space
The Lucky Ones' home has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the second room has a queen bed. In the living room you will find a pullout couch that converts into a full-size bed - bed linens are under the long side of the couch on the left.
Other Property Details:
• The property is 8.5 acres, and the living space is 868 sq. ft.
• Sleeps up to 6 guests (4 guest included in reservation fee. Additional fee for more than 4 guests)
• Stackable Washer and Dryer available for use
• Dog-friendly (see House Rules)
• Surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty.
Our property sits in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, where nature takes center stage. You’ll see wide-open skies, rolling terrain, and the authentic beauty of a place still in the process of being shaped. Some areas have downed trees piled, ready for removal as we continue to enhance the land. The tall native grasses are home to a variety of wildlife, from deer and songbirds to butterflies and other flying visitors. If you love the outdoors and don’t mind a touch of “wild Texas,” you’ll feel right at home here. Please be respectful of our neighboring cattle and the Historic Hohenberger Farmstead next door.
Additionally, our area is designated as Dark Skies, so enjoy all the stars without the light pollution on a beautiful clear Texas night. You will find a star guide book in the house for your use while visiting The Lucky Ones.
Guest access:
The Lucky Ones entry gate has a key pad for access. The gate code, along with the house keypad code, will be sent to you the day of your arrival.
To preserve the land and pasture, please park only on the designated driveway. Parking on adjacent grass, pastures or undeveloped land is not permitted.
For safety and respect, do not enter fenced-in areas, and do not open gates leading to pastures. These are reserved spaces and may contain livestock or sensitive ecosystems.
Do not allow your pets to enter fenced-in areas. Livestock are present.
Other things to note:
Pet fee is $40 per pet per stay.
Booking fee includes 4 people. Additional people (up to 6 total) are an additional $20 per person per night.
