Nestled directly on the shores of Candlewood Lake, Golden Shore Cottage is a beautifully renovated 1960’s waterfront retreat designed for slowing down and savoring lake life. Thoughtfully updated while preserving its warm cottage charm, this inviting two-bedroom home offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and an unbeatable lakeside setting.

The bright, fully equipped kitchen and dining area overlook the water, making every breakfast, leisurely lunch, and sunset dinner feel special. French doors open from the dining space onto the screened porch, where you’ll likely spend most of your time—reading a book, sharing a meal, or enjoying a glass of wine as the lake settles into evening.

Outside, a spacious furnished deck with a grill provides the perfect place to gather after a day on the water, whether you’re cooking dinner, enjoying cocktails with friends, or simply taking in the view.

The primary bedroom offers a peaceful retreat, featuring French doors that open directly onto the porch so you can greet the morning with fresh air and lake breezes. The charming Garden Room can be configured with two twin beds or combined into a king, making it ideal for two couples, friends, or families.

After a day of swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or exploring our charming New England town, unwind with a long soak in the spacious bathroom before settling in for a quiet evening by the water.
