About this cottage rental
Just 90 minutes outside of NYC, escape to your perfectly appointed lakefront cottage surrounded by nature with endless options and all Litchfield county has to offer. Start your day with a perfectly brewed Nespresso coffee as you sit on the dock and watch the morning mist rise off of the lake. Paddle board, swim, hike or prepare to get pampered at Condé Nast Traveler’s #1 ranked spa Winvian Farms. Visit the quaint New England towns of Kent and New Preston or simply relax in the hammock and take a nap.
On the main floor a generous sized, well appointed kitchen and open living space awaits. Perfect for sharing a meal, cooking, playing board games or watching movies as you sink into the couch which doubles as a queen sized pull out bed with gel mattress.
Off the kitchen, walk directly out onto the multi leveled pebbled patio where you can cook on the grill, dine outside, hang by the firepit and enjoy the lake views and starlit sky. Stroll down the property to your personal dock to watch families of ducks paddle past casting ripples into the water's surface.
After a full day of fun, wind down under the perfect water pressure of the full bath's hot shower we and retreat upstairs to either of the two comfortable bedrooms. There, under fluffy comforters, drift off to sleep and awake in the morning rested, recharged and ready to do it all over again.

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend here-- 5 childhood friends! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The kitchen was very modern and great for cooking together, and the beds were so comfy! We loved the gathering spaces—we sat on the dock with a beautiful lake view and relaxed around the cozy firepit. We also visited the White Silo Winery (just two minutes down the road!) for wine & live music, and had the best brunch at American Pie. We can’t wait to come back to this peaceful spot!
