Our weekend at Rory’s home was everything and then some. The hospitality was truly unmatched. Rory bought us a new grill, provided pizza, and gave us fantastic suggestions to go do in the area. There was so much to do around the house between using the kayaks during the day and ending the night by the bonfire. I highly recommend staying here for a weekend getaway, reunion, or even to just unwind and get away from the city. 10/10 experience, would absolutely stay here again!

This was our family's first time to Candlewood Lake/Squantz Pond. The area is picturesque and the location of this property is perfect. The porch off of the living area directly overlooks Squantz Pond and mountains. The basement was ideal for teenagers with a projector screen, air hockey/pool, and exercise equipment. The bedroom were spacious and beds comfortable. The kitchen/living area are open concept and the whole family could be together. The owner and his daughter are incredibly kind and helpful. They made solid recommendations for eats and water activities. We took the kids tubing on Candlewood Lake and had breakfast at American Pie in Sherman CT on our last day. Thank you so much Rory! This property is a gem!
