Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire 3,020-square-foot home, including the private hot tub, laundry facilities, pin pong Table, Fire pit and Grill Please note there is a natural pool on site that has rocky edges and may be unsuitable for children, care should be taken around the natural edges. Parking is available for up to five vehicles on the long driveway.
The Neighborhood:
Olympic Valley is a world-renowned destination famous for hosting the 1960 Winter Olympics. This neighborhood offers a peaceful, upscale mountain vibe with stunning granite peaks and lush valley floors. In the winter, you are minutes away from the legendary slopes of Palisades Tahoe. During the summer, the area transforms into a hiker's paradise with trails leading to high-alpine lakes and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe.
Nearby, the Village at Palisades Tahoe offers a variety of boutique shopping, fine dining, and après-ski spots. For a change of pace, a short drive brings you to the shores of Lake Tahoe for boating, paddleboarding, or relaxing on the beach.
Getting Around:
A car is highly recommended to fully enjoy the surrounding North Lake Tahoe area. The property is located off-road, providing easy access to the main transit veins heading toward Tahoe City or Truckee. While there is no direct shuttle from the front door, the free Mountaineer shuttle often operates within the valley during peak seasons.
Other Things to Note:
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
Please note: the private, unheated swimming lagoon functions as a water feature and may be discolored by seasonal pollen. It is not usable in the winter; it serves as a visual amenity during the colder months. While chemicals are properly maintained, it does not have a a cover to reduce leaves, branches, animals from fallen in. Swim at own risk.
Please note: the private hot tub is clean and heated for your use; however, please note that the jets are non-operational.
Bedroom 2 is a walkthrough room and is only accessible by passing through the primary bedroom.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn't snowed in a few days.
