The house was well cared for and well equipped The location is wonderful and being able to use the private beach area at Sunnyside made it so convenient to go the the lake. The back yard is well laid out and has fun games for the family. Laure was very responsive to my questions and had the property manager over quickly to tweak a small issue. It’s a great house for your time in Tahoe

We enjoyed our stay and Laure was very helpful before and during the stay. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, however knives very very dull and we always felt short on towels.

Awesome family vacation spot! We had great weather all week and my kids (in their 20's and 30's) ran me around from Truckee to South Lake Tahoe. My sister and her husband drove up from Pasadena and joined us for a few days. We rented a pontoon boat and the six of us spent a day on the lake. This was my first time in Tahoe and I think that the area is one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on earth. The house was big enough for all of us to be comfortable and the fenced in back yard was a bonus. My grand dog was in her glory chasing squirrels and chipmunks! We walked a lot.The West Shore Market was great for coffee and breakfast stuff and some souvenirs. The only minor issue I had was navigating the stairs. The bedrooms are not on the main floor, but the living room and one of the bathrooms are. The bear fences on the doors were a little difficult to get used to but it became a habit to hook them up. WE DIDN'T SEE ANY BEARS! Parking was a bit tight for three vehicles, but we managed to keep them off the road. Good times were had by all!

The place is perfect for a family to relax and enjoy time away from the hustle. The private beach access is an excellent perk. The home is clean and even nicer than the pictures.

We had a great snow weekend with 3 families, ages 5 to 72. This space is amazing and the various rooms are truly beautiful, especially the two upstairs suites with gorgeous light and views. Recommended!Caution: triple-check your pricing with a message to the owner, beyond just the automated platform messages. The owner is trying to do a pretty cool thing here by offering variable pricing for adding on different spaces - unfortunately it's too advanced for VRBO's abilities. The result is that you may wind up with an inaccurate quote. In our case that initial math (miscalculated by VRBO, according to the owner's desired calculation) went uncorrected for several months, until the owner asked for a correction that increased cost by roughly 40% at a date when it was too late to find alternate properties. I think the owner is entirely honest here though I wish the mistake were caught sooner. I appreciate the owner's communication and good-faith negotiation to resolve this.More & better info: the backyard is gorgeous and probably makes a really fun kiddo sled run with a foot or two of snow. The bear fencing at three separate doors is a bit strange and off-putting, though I see it's becoming the norm in this neighborhood. I wish the confirmation lights worked better to clearly display when it were armed. A really great beach is just a 10min walk downhill! The street and driveway at the house are easy but road is steep near Hwy 89.

Location is good to both Northstar and Palisades. House is clean and good for families. Hot tub is well maintained. Overall we had a really good time. Pro tip: the road the house is on is a loop starting and ending on 89. If you drive away from Tahoe City the entrance to 89 has much better visibility making it much easier to enter 89 in both directions.
