La casa Mayla-family oasis with garden,gym,ps5 & parking

We’re cycling around Europe and only take the time to write reviews in exceptional cases, as we stay in a different place every day and, more often than not, everything’s ok. This one is an exception. We arrived much earlier than we’d said we would. Even so, our hosts were there within five minutes. Although we’d initially thought it would have been better to cycle on past Dubrovnik, as there was still so much of the day left, the moment we stepped into the flat, we knew straight away why we’d stopped here. It is exceptionally spacious and furnished with great care and style. Everything is new, spotlessly clean and simply beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the peace and quiet is heavenly. No traffic noise, no barking dogs, no noisy neighbours. The patio is also large and cosy, with a view right down to the water. And although it’s a little walk to the beach, the route along the steps and paths is quite pretty and gives you a glimpse of the village. There is a small grocery shop within walking distance, which stocks all the essentials. As well as giving us a warm welcome, our hosts Marijana and Marin really knew how to spoil us. As well as coffee and milk, we were given fresh fruit and chocolates which was the absolute highlight. Given the temperatures, we hadn’t bought any sweets for weeks, so we tucked in heartily.
