A wonderful hostess, a beautiful room, and a magnificent village with mesmerizing views and its own unique history

Το κατάλυμα ήταν πολύ καθαρό και άνετο.

Όλα ήταν όπως τα περιμέναμε.

Close to the river and the famous stone bridge.

For motorcyclists who, like me, only book accommodation with secure motorcycle parking — meaning behind a gate or inside the property, not outside on the street — I recommend contacting the accommodation before booking and asking whether motorcycles are allowed to be parked inside the courtyard. When I arrived, I contacted the host in writing and asked whether I could park my motorcycle behind the entrance gate. I only met the host in person when I was leaving, but that is not really important. At first, I received a negative answer. After some time, however, the host changed her mind and allowed me to park behind the gate, for which I am very grateful. There was, however, a misunderstanding, probably because the translation from Greek into English was not completely accurate. I did not understand that I was only allowed to park the motorcycle on the grass. Motorcyclists usually try to avoid parking on grass because the motorcycle can easily tip over on soft ground. So I parked it on the stone surface at the very edge, where it would not block the way for other guests. After some time, the host’s mother appeared and, without saying hello, pointed at me in a rather unfriendly way, almost as if I were a schoolboy, and told me to move the motorcycle onto the grass immediately. I did so once I finally found something to place under the side stand so that the motorcycle would not fall over. I did not like the way I was spoken to at all. If the hosts have had bad experiences with motorcyclists in the past, I do not think it is fair to treat everyone the same way. Nowadays, hosts should also be aware that motorcyclists are becoming an increasingly important part of tourism.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet room within walking distance from landmarks, trails and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and polite.
