Avocet

Superb outside area, comfortable & nicely furnished inside. Excellent central location.

It was a great holiday, would struggle with any negatives.

Beautifully decorated, excellent location with a great roof terrace.

All pretty good but the gap between the bed and wall was a bit tight and no toilet roll holders! The Seagulls squarking from 3-5am - would recommend taking earplugs...

Perfect location

Booking.com failed to provide any check in details, luckily the host was able to resolve.

We were with my elderly parents. Wanted something central. Location for sea front, pubs and amenities was excellent. Spotlessly clean Mostly good and brand new facilities within apartment. Comfortable. Beautiful place let down by Sykes the hosts.

We were with my elderly parents so were wanting TV available. Not an unreasonable request! On arrival on the Friday evening we were unable to watch the TV in the main kitchen area as the WiFi code left in the information folder was incorrect. We were also VERY unhappy and disappointed because there was a great big grey, beautiful brand new looking fridge, but it DID NOT WORK!!! It had been a very hot and not good at all under even normal weather conditions to be left without a fridge! We tried swapping fuses from within other kitchen appliances ourselves but this did not work. Milk was left for us at some point by hosts so someone had opened the fridge to leave this and not noted that it was not working. The milk had gone off and curdled by the time we went to use it on the Sunday morning (as we used our own supply first). We tried to phone to report this straight away but were unable to speak to a human being as it was after 5.30. The only communications we had was through AI. This was really disappointing and failed to sort the issue. We were told that someone would call us back but no one did. A mobile number of a host should be available 24 hours!!! Very very poor customer service. This caused us a lot of upset at the start of our stay. On the following (Saturday) morning we tried to phone again and luckily an engineer was sent out but only because we chased it up. He helped us to log onto the TV after identifying that the information left was incorrect. We were going out for the day and this was delayed because of waiting in for this visit. We were eventually supplied with a very small fridge whilst we were out. We were without facilities to keep our food and drink cool for 24 hours by the time we returned and put our food in the new fridge. The small fridge was totally inappropriate for the amount of food we had even for just 3 nights. The fact that we could not speak to anyone about this on arrival was less than satisfactory for the price.
