Short and sweet in an ideal location.

Location was perfect, just off the Cobb Road. Parking on site. Wonderful views of the sea. Small and compact property, ideal for 1 or 2 (dogs allowed too). Maria as a host was very helpful and welcoming.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property but the radiator and floor in the bathroom could do with a deep clean. Otherwise the house was spotlessly clean. Awful weather which caused door to swell making it hard to lock door however Maria helped but with harsh weather and directly facing the elements, nothing anyone (including a handyman) could do. No fault of Maria or the property.

Fantastic cosy property with great views and near lots of restaurants and bars

Location is fantastic as close to the harbour and bars and restaurants. Short walk to town centre. Views from property were amazing. Easy parking and the property is perfect for a couple looking for a break in Lyme Regis and surrounding area.

Our stay was 100% spot on. Really nice place to say, walking distance to the town just 2 mins away

No breakfast, we went to a local cafe. I would advise to take some saussages and make a sani and sit out on the patio overlooking the sea.

A great location with a comfortable house.

Great location, clean, quiet, very comfortable and warm without need for heating. Great view and the pub down the road is good. Lyme Regis centre an easy walk away.

The kitchen could do with a couple more pans to cook with on the induction hob and simple instructions for the hob/oven/air fryer.

Building work next door effectively makes the outside space unusable as not best relaxing to have workman and their radio on all day as your neighbour.

Fabulous little house, fantastic location

Our second visit. Love this little house! The location is fabulous, with an amazing view. Marie is a friendly and helpful host, and quick to respond to any queries. We have felt so welcome here, it's a real find. Highly recommend.

A marvellous 2 days in Lyme, based in a lovely little house

Really great location and view. Very well equiped kitchen with coffee pods, milk (and first aid kit) provided. (Liked the crab trivet too!)

A very minor gripe, given everything else was terrific, but the bathroom smelt a little damp.

Gorgeous, peaceful property and will definitely be booking again.

Absolutely beautiful, clean property located right by the beach. It was easy to access (the X53 stops right at the top of the road) with clear instructions. You also get a lovely view of the sea and easy access to the promenade.

Nothing to dislike but be aware that the property is located near the bottom of a very steep hill, which is quite challenging to get back up if you don’t drive!

Combi oven was amazing! View Shampoo and shower gel set. Outside space.

Not totally secure for dogs, although was described in the property description beforehand, means that dogs have to be on the lead all the time in the garden area. Could do, with a baby gate or small gate to put on front door when open, so that you can get fresh air without worrying about the dog getting out. TV could do with being downstairs in an ideal world but not a deal breaker.

Location was fantastic, we knew this part of town, as had stayed here before, if there was a gripe the livin neighbours parked right on top of us enabling us to gain access to our car!

Amazing!

As a whole the property was really nice. The location is fantastic, the place was amazing.. very up to date, and well thought out. Even it being a small building it feels very big. Had everything you needed in regards of kitchen utensils and all the bits and bobs. All round lovely place and would definitely go back again! The carpet upstairs was fantastic underfoot aswell as a side note!!

Enjoyed our stay

Lovely little studio apartment. Was warm and cosy throughout our stay. Bed was comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep. Close to the seafront and onsite parking a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again.

Really enjoyable stay, would certainly recommend to others too and would certainly stay again in the future.

The host and accommodation provided everything we required for our short stay. The house provided a comfortable, clean and convenient base allowing us to enjoy the sites of Lyme Regis. Communication with the host regarding our stay was excellent, making everything straightforward and welcoming. Have recommended to friends already and we would certainly stay again if visiting the area in the future. Thank-you for sharing your property with us.

Relaxing,

Tea bag’s coffee sugar and milk was provided. The apartment was beautiful with lovely views and everything you would need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very peaceful. Easy walk to beach although the walk back is a hill it’s only two minutes. Marie was very helpful with any questions I had.

Left the next morning, didn't bother to stay for the second night.

No TV in lounge diner, welcome pack included used dish sponge. dregs in the bottle of vinegar, only 2 teaspoons in the kitchen. dirty can opener and egg slicer, kettle full of scale, dirty drinks glass in cupboard, minimal coffee pods left, water container on coffee machine covered in handprints. Blocked drain smell in bathroom, drains need maintenance, bedroom window latch broken , lots of building work going on next door, very noisy and large metal bolt on the floor from the bed.

A perfect place for a couple to stay in Lyme Regis

This property fully lived up to its description. It was a perfect place for a couple to stay in Lyme Regis. Close to the beach and harbour, and a short walk along the promenade to the town centre. It was clean, well furnished and equipped, and Marie (whom we met briefly) a very helpful hostess. We would love to stay there again.

The location is fantastic and having onsite parking was a bonus. It's a great place to stay for a break in Lyme Regis and Marie was very accommodating with check in and check out.

Lovely winter break

Great location with a beautiful view (although the view to the left was obscured by scaffolding). Owner very kindly allowed an early check in. Parking in front of property perfect.

We visited for a 2 night mid week stay. The extensive building works Nextdoor mean that the site is very noisy with drilling etc. from 8am. Completely understand that the owner has no control over this but it might bother some people more than it did us so good to be aware as looks like they will be going on for a while. We had recommendations from a friend and found Lyme Regis super dog friendly so all worked very well for us. We ate out so didn’t really use the kitchen but a cottage handbook with instructions and suggestions would be helpful and add a personal touch.

Location for Lyme Regis centre, marina and beach good but construction site next door ruined holiday

Location was good for walking into town centre and beach/marina. Collecting keys worked out well. Host was at property so collected the keys from her. WiFi very good and bathroom big with great shower. The kitchen had an air fryer and coffee machine which were very good. Private parking good and walking the dog to the park or beach front very easy. Lyme Regis very dog friendly.

Property half way up steep hill so could be difficult for persons with walking difficulties to walk up and down the hill. The bed mattress was very soft and seen better days. No TV downstairs so if wanted to watch had to do so from bed or use own laptop. The settee faced the kitchen so not much of a view. Difficulty using the cooker/microwave no instructions on use. Could have done with a soft brush and/or mop to clean the downstairs floor especially with a dog in the house. Had to use a wet cloth on hands and knees. The biggest disappointment was that there was a house reconstruction going on right next door, which the host had not mentioned prior to arrival or when booking. The workmen were on site working from 8am to 5pm lot of noise and construction dust coming over onto patio and into house. If had known of the construction site would not have booked. This ruined the holiday.
