Golden Palace Hotel

In terms of location, the hotel is situated in a peaceful area just a pleasant 15-minute walk from downtown Baku. Convenience was a major plus, with a supermarket and local cafes reachable within a minute on foot. The rooms were remarkably spacious, impeccably cleaned on a daily basis, and equipped with efficient air conditioning alongside an expansive balcony. Furthermore, the open-buffet breakfast was both rich and satisfying. As a complimentary perk for our 10-night stay, round-trip airport transfers were provided seamlessly. We would especially like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Emil, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. He constantly ensured our comfort, stopped to assist me when I needed to exchange currency and graciously answered all our questions about the country. Moreover, during check-in, he patiently showed us all available options and left the final room selection entirely to us—a level of hospitality we genuinely appreciated

Although we specifically booked this hotel for its swimming pool and gym, we unfortunately couldn't utilize either. The indoor pool area was enclosed in glass, trapping the heat to such an extent that it felt like a sauna, rendering it unusable. Furthermore, the gym was under renovation throughout our entire 10-day stay and remained closed. On a minor note, the shower drain was slightly clogged, causing water to pool; however, owing to the diligent daily housekeeping, this was only a slight inconvenience.
