I stayed for 8 nights with only 251 Euro. I doubt if you'd find much better price in the city nowadays. The owner and his family treated me with sincere hospitality. The room was spacious, enough to unpack and tidy up my messy belongings. It also had a shelf of 5 racks, which houses books, clothes, and towels. For a single room the bed has storage space under it. The WiFi was fast enough as well. Most importantly, the bed was soft but not insomuch as to tire me after 10 hours of sleep. The neighborhood is starkly different from the city center. Quietness reigns without students or pubs, but only with modest residents. Particularly I enjoyed a walking way in the woods right beside the Autobahn.

Expect what you would expect for a suburban budget guesthouse. The nearest supermarket (ALDI or Lidl Pesch) is 1.3km away. The town itself is not designed walkable as are the case with other parts of the city. The guesthouse has 2 toilets and 1 shower room for 6 rooms, so collision is likely to happen in busy seasons (fortunately it didn't happen for me). The chair was not comfortable for sitting for more than 30 minutes, so if you're looking for a teleworking space please find a café somewhere.
