This is a very convenient location to be near the airport and also downtown. An Uber is about 20 minutes to downtown. If you take the skytrain it’s a 20-25 minute walk to the station and about a 3-5 minute Uber ride to station. Host was super nice. Everything very clean. There are cameras all around the property and that made me feel safer sleeping with the window open. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your convenience. Very close to new Oakridge mall, which is supposed to be massive!

There is no light to walk down the stairs into the apartment and at night that’s very dangerous for anyone with “older eyes” and possible depth perception problems. There really should be an automatic light that comes on so you can see the stairs and the door lock when trying to come back at night. There are no hooks in bedroom to hang towel or clothes you may want to air out. No floor mat in bathroom to get out of shower and the tile is very slippery so I recommend them getting a shower mat. Also, no hand towel in bathroom so you either need to air dry or take your body towel all the time. Very basic kitchen dishes: 4 plates, 4 bowls, 6 small plastic cups. There is no top sheet so if comforter is too hot for you then your only other choice is sleeping with nothing covering you.
