Blackstairs Glamping Pod 1

What an amazing stay, everything you could possibly need was supplied.

There are absolutely no dislikes

If you want peace and calm, solitude, relaxation, clean accommodation, a little bit of luxury and everything cared for then this is the place. We didn't want an active break, just to relax and this place is perfect. We spent most of the time in the hot tub which is completely private, enjoying the sun going down over the Blackstairs mountain. Everything has been thought of, towels, hairdryer, iron, WiFi, soap and shampoo, even milk, bread and teabags. There was also a lovely thoughtful little gift basket waiting for us on the table. It was our anniversary and Emma and Nicky left some petals on the bed (very romantic), chocolate and prosseco, although I'm not sure she will do this for every guest. 😄 The quality of the pod is excellent and as its brand new its extremely clean. You can tell Emma is really proud of the site. The bed was very comfy and i suffer from a bad back but i found it great. The sofa bed was also very supportive to sit on. The shower was great too although if you are a very big person it might be a bit of a squeeze. When we arrived we put in the code for the gate that she sent beforehand and let ourselves in, within a few minutes Emma arrived to welcome us and make us feel at home. During our stay all we could hear, apart from an occasional passing tractor, is the wind in the trees and the birds. The three pods are overlooking the Blackstairs mountains and we did seek out one of the paths for a walk for about an hour but if you're in to walking then its very near some great trails as we saw quite a few hikers around. There is a small village about 5 to 10 minutes in a car, it has a pub, shop and delightful coffee dock. It's so still and tranquil. This Glamping site is a real gem and would like to keep it for ourselves but we want Emma and Nicky's beautiful venture to succeed. We hope you decide to experience it for yourselves.

Probably could do with a broom so you can keep the floor tidy during the stay. There isn't a microwave but we didnt find that a problem as the oven was great.
