It was an amazing experience! If you have an opportunity- use it! Not every day we have an affordable option to stay in the castle

The rooms were huge. Staff was very kind. Kitchen was modern and worked well. The view is awesome!

Anniversary celebration in a Castle

Everything! The serene location, the ruins of the castle that were preserved, the original antique furniture, the blazing fire in the fireplace, the majestic wallpapers, the hallway with renessaince paintings, the mysterious fog on the fields and I could go on… all this made sure we had a timeless and unique once in a lifetime experience spending our 4th anniversary in an actual Castle!!! We spent a night there solving a detective game and had an absolute blast! The ambient was just perfect and we left with memories that we will cherish forever! Also, I want to say thank you to our wonderful Host Sean who was available via email and answered all my questions within minutes. He greated us in person and was very friendly explaining us a few things. We thank you again for creating such an unparalleled experience sharing the Castle with the public and for keeping such good care of it!

Good place to stay, very quiet and comfortable and close to town, With lots of history.

The Castle was easy to find, we always use the post code on our GPS. The car park is directly outside. The Host was waiting for us as we pulled into the parking lot. The rooms are very large with plenty of space. We were shown all the features of the place. It had good Wi-Fi. Good place to stay, very quiet and comfortable and close to town.

Fantastic stay in the Irish countryside in a castle with a rich history.

Stunning location and accommodation. We were lucky enough to have the castle all to ourselves. Absolutely loved our stay. Wandered the property at dusk and soaked up the rural Irish countryside with a glass of wine in hand. I stayed in the Furlong room and loved the claw bath and fire, so relaxing and cosy. My father stayed upstairs in his own apartment and absolutely loved it. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for cooking an evening meal. Perfect for a stay out in the countryside. Taxi from Enniscorthy was quick and efficient. Highly recommended.

Heating was tricky to work out the following day. Followed the instructions but couldn’t get it working. Fortunately the warmth from the night before lingered.

A beautiful castle in a lovely setting.

The castle and property are beautiful. The apartment we were in was large and beautifully appointed with art and furnishings. The beds were so comfortable and so was the sofa. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. for cooking and had a nice sized refrigerator. The views all around were lovely.

The two chairs and benches in the kitchen for dining were not comfortable. One of the chars was unstable, so my husband had to sit on the bench.

Absolute Perfection

This place is amazing! Don’t look any further, just book here! It’s a little out of the way but so, so worth it. We stayed in the Thornhill suite and it was simply perfection. The restoration on the place is so well done. Our entire family stayed in the suite and you can’t beat getting an entire apartment suite for the price of a couple hotel rooms. The entire right side of the building is ruins from a fire in the 1920s and the left side is beautifully restored. I can’t explain how wonderfully this place is. Stay here!

The check out process wasn’t made clear so we didn’t quite know what to do. Thankfully someone was there to clean so we were able to leave the key with her

A fantastic and very comfortable place in beautiful countryside.

The suite was fantastic and the staff really helpful and friendly. The history of the castle was interesting and thus the hotel was full of character. It was a beautiful and very quiet location, which made for a very relaxing break.

I can give no advice whatsoever on what could be improved. A great place to stay.

Very relaxing and peaceful trip to Wilton Castle with luxurious home furnishings to make your stay feel special.

picturesque location very close to Enniscorthy with plenty of restaurants for dining and a lovely Dunnes Stores for groceries. Wilton Castle is stunning, where the old meets the contemporary but still in compasses the essence of the castle with vintage touches and decor. Kitchen is fully decked out, beautiful bed and bedding, fabulous sitting room and lovely wet room and toilet.

The apartment was spacious, the full kitchen was lovely. Comfy bed. The grounds and view was amazing. Location was remote and quiet, you have to go out of your way to stay at this accomodation. Staff was helpful, gave maps of area and recommended places to eat in town.

Bed could be upgraded to a king size, there is definitely enough room for it. Wifi only really worked well in the bedroom. A wifi booster would be useful.

Great value for money. Exceptional peace and quiet. Stunning place.

Location is stunning. Suite was fantastic - very tastefully decorated in keeping with a period residence. Fully self contained and very comfortable. Host was very helpful and informative. Breakfast was stunning - brought to the room laid out with a lot of choice.

WIFI isn't good also the mobile coverage was poor. That said, if you want fairly complete detachment of life's stresses then WIFI and Mobile cover isn't an issue.
