Cozy Apartment with Easy Access to Bern

Grösse und Lage sehr gut. Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe. Ausstattung ok (Küche und Badezimmer) - ruhige Umgebung. Stadtzentrum gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Zwischennutzung der Liegenschaft (Appartement) - merkbar (Umbau oder Renovation der Wohnungen gekennzeichnet.) Treppenhaus und Lift schmutzig, Duschschlauch war defekt und zu kurz. Ein Schlafzimmer laut (Lärmemission Badezimmer angrenzendes Appartement mitten in der Nacht störend).

Relatively easy access and spacious appartment with good public transit close.

It was way too hot but that may have just been one of the hottest days of the year. Could have used more fans. They wanted me to take the trash out and wash the dishes. Dishwasher smelled of mold and didn't seem to work. Parking was also super confusing. They have visitor parking out front but you are not allowed to park there. When asked what the best way to park was they gave a vague response. Ultimately you need to park in blue parking but get a visitor pass based on timing. It took me a while to figure out how to get said pass. They could have just told me to go up the road a block to the bus stop and buy a visitor day parking pass but I had to figure that all out myself.

The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, with several beds and a fully equipped kitchen, which was perfect for us as we enjoy preparing our own meals. It was easy to reach the city from the apartment, making it a convenient base for exploring Bern. The bathtub was a wonderful bonus, and we also appreciated the clean towels, the balcony, and the reliable Wi-Fi.

What we liked less was that the apartment became very warm, and there was only one small fan available in a single bedroom. As a result, some members of our group had to sleep without a fan, which was quite uncomfortable during the warmer nights. The apartment was also not very soundproof and was connected to other rental units. New guests would arrive at all hours of the day and night, and there was often a considerable amount of noise from neighboring apartments, including late-night gatherings and parties, which sometimes disturbed our sleep.
