Maple Guest House

Su ubicación, precio, hermosa vista al lago y personal atento, es una casa con cuartos algunos con vista al lago.

Todo bien, solo que el pago es en efectivo y quizás no lo leí en las condiciones del alojamiento.

The room was right on the lake with great views. The staff were very friendly and great at responding and they even got us some towels so we could swim in the lake! The AC works well and the room does have hot water, though low pressure which is to be expected. It’s far enough from the clubs that you can avoid that noise.

I don’t like to be negative but it’s important to note that it was extremely noisy - beyond any noise I’ve experienced in a hotel or hostel before and this was on both the Saturday and also the Sunday night. It felt like we were in the kitchen of the restaurant next door and we could also hear everything other guests were doing/saying, including the running of their shower at 3am. I think it’s the structure of the building but really worth noting for anyone who’s noise sensitive or has an early start for Tikal, which we did and were very tired! The bathroom also didn’t feel very clean and the windows didn’t shut properly which I don’t think helped with the noise.

Le logement est très propre et bien pensé. Il y a plusieurs chambres à travers la maison. Nous avons séjourner dans la chambre 5 avec un lit double très propre et 2 petites tables permettant d’y mettre ses affaires. La salle de bain est privative sur le pallier, très bien équipée et récemment refaite avec tout le nécessaire (attention si vous n’aimez pas l’eau froide). Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et l’excellente communication avec l’hôte. J’ai pu faire une lessive dont l’hôte s’est occupé et ce très rapidement (donc très pratique). L’établissement est très bien situé au bout de l’île de Flores (qui se traverse en 7min à pied).

Un poubelle dans la chambre serait très pratique 🙏

la vue est a couper le souffle! la chambre etait propre, l’accès au frigo et au micro-ondes appréciables.

le bruit incessant! La chambre est collée à un resto et la musique est si forte du matin au soir qu’on a l’impression qu’elle est directement dans la chambre, c’est vraiment vraiment très bruyant, j’ai passé mon temps avec des boules quies de jour comme de nuit et malgré tout j’entendais la musique. Aussi quand les gens utilisent la salle de bain sur le palier, il y a également énormément de bruit comme s’ils etaient dans ma salle de bain . Pareil pour l’embarcadère sous les fenêtres, les lanchas font des a/r de 6h jusqu’au soir. Aussi, pas d’eau chaude dans la douche.
