Escape to Pacifico, an authentic two bedroom adobe home set on a full acre between Taos and Taos Ski Valley. Handcrafted details, soaring viga ceilings, sweeping southern Rocky Mountain views, and a private hot tub make this a peaceful base for adventure or quiet restoration. Comfortably sleeps 6.
Step into a warm, sunlit living room framed by high viga ceilings and wide windows that showcase the Taos mountains. Gather around the traditional wood burning kiva fireplace for fireside board games or unwind with satellite TV on the 55" flat screen. The open, fully stocked kitchen features high quality appliances — gas range, microwave, refrigerator, and ultra quiet dishwasher — plus cookware and pantry staples for effortless meals. Dine together at the generously sized table or grill on the back patio while watching the sunset reflect off the mountains.
Curl up in the library among floor to ceiling bookshelves, stream music via Bluetooth, or sip wine on the private front patio while listening to the soft wind through the tees. After a day exploring, soak in the private hot tub beneath a moonlit sky so clear you can see the Milky Way.

• House rules: No smoking; no parties or events; check in after 4 PM; check out by 10 AM; please respect neighbors and quiet hours; PETS: Only small dogs are allowed; two dog limit; No cats or other pets; Pet fee is $100; Pets must be approved in advance; No pets on furniture; Guests are responsible for cleaning up after your pets, including refuse; pets must be attended or kenneled/caged at all times.

The water used for your stay is sourced from a private shared well with our neighbors. Due to drought conditions, we ask for your consideration in conserving water when possible.
As with most homes in Taos, Pacifico is NOT equipped with A/C. The materials used to build adobe homes tend to naturally regulate temperatures, reducing the need for air cooling. Please use provided ceiling fans and open windows (not doors!) at night to cool the home down. Close windows and shades during the day to keep the home cool.
Winter Access: the private roads in our community are not plowed during winter storms. Guests should be comfortable navigating snowy/icy conditions.
Homes in El Prado are located on large lots in the high desert. Although we hire professionals to provide pest control for insects and mice, their presence is a reality of the New Mexico environment. Although rare, critters occasionally find their way into homes. Your assistance in keeping doors closed will help keep the pests out.

We stayed here for the majority of our honeymoon and had an absolutely incredible time! The hot tub under the stars with the Mountain View was absolutely magical, and getting to see the runtime and sunset every day added special moments to every day. The bed and couch were both so comfortable, we would definitely stay here again!

Everything was more than we expected. The owners respect their property and that makes it easy to join them in doing so. The night sky and hot tub combo were so appreciated by us. A treasure all on its own.
