Classic Southwest Condo 15 minutes to Taos Ski Valley
This well-appointed classic Taos home is perfectly located between Taos Ski Valley and Taos (10-15 minute drive), and just 5 minutes drive from the artisan village of Arroyo Seco. Situated overlooking the Rio Hondo river valley, a major recreation corridor which extends from Taos Ski Valley and many amazing National Forest trails, and fly and spin fishing, to the Rio Grande, guests can take advantage of being in the forest environment with all the comforts of being at home. Watching birds, or the just clouds rolling aloing the sky from the valley toward the mountains are relaxing favorite passtimes from the private front porch.
A well stocked kitchen means you can make gourmet meals at home snuggled by the fireplace or watching a movie with the family on the Smart TV. Private, spacious, bedrooms on separate floors with ensuite baths and private porch means couples or family members have their own space, including a plush queen bed with new pillows and bedding, coffee maker and 70" smart TV in the upstairs suite, and full Murphy bed with twin bunkbeds and Smart TV in the middle level suite.

Clean. Safe surroundings. Close to the ski area. The stairs are a doozy if you have any handicaps.

The condo had everything we needed and it was clean. Communication was clear and timely. If we had needed anything I felt sure it would have been taken care of promptly. The stairs are a challenge if you aren't in shape or if you are carrying a 50 lb bag, just be prepared. I would definitely stay here again.

We took our kids skiing over spring break for the first time. This place was great - right in between the resort and the town (about a 15 minute drive to each). The only problem we encountered was with the internet. It went out a couple of times and it wouldn't have mattered as much but there is not any cell service so we were using the wifi for phone calls.The space was great, big enough for my husband and I and the kids to sleep on the second floor and my parents to come join us and sleep on the 3rd floor.

Overall this was a great place to stay. A little dated but clean and comfortable. The stairs are something to consider for older adults and small children, there are a lot of them. The owners were great and responsive. The location is very quiet and peaceful with easy access to Taos and the ski valley.
