The central staircase leads to the upper floor, which features another living room flooded with light from a large dormer window, an additional bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a bathtub. The floor plan offers both communal areas and private retreats, making the Seemannshaus ideal for families or groups of friends.

Sustainability is at the heart of the concept. A solar power system and an air-source heat pump ensure an environmentally friendly energy supply. A charging station for electric cars is also available. The large garden, featuring a mixed-fruit orchard, is home to fruit trees and shrubs that give the property a natural character. Four bicycles and a lockable shed make it easy to explore the surrounding area.

The romantic Weststrand beach can be reached after about a twenty-minute bike ride through the wild Darß Forest, which is part of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park.
