The Ankerplatz vacation home is located in the idyllic Baltic Sea resort town of Born on the Darß Peninsula, a traditional captains’ village nestled between the Bodden lagoon and the Baltic Sea. The region is part of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park and is particularly known for its unspoiled nature, wide beaches, and extensive cycling and hiking trails. In the town itself, guests will find cozy restaurants, cafés, bike rentals, and the small Bodden harbor, which offers opportunities for day trips.
Popular destinations such as the unspoiled West Beach, the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow with its pier, or the artists’ colony of Ahrenshoop are just a short distance away and offer a variety of activities.
The vacation home was built in 2018 using traditional, Darß-style, eco-friendly construction methods and combines high-quality architecture with modern comforts. The Ankerplatz vacation home offers spacious living comfort and a well-thought-out floor plan for families or small groups. The heart of the home is the large, open-concept living and dining area with a cozy fireplace. Original Darß tiles and solid oak floorboards give the room a unique character. Underfloor heating throughout the house ensures pleasant warmth. From the living area, you have direct access to the northeast-facing terrace.
The fully equipped built-in kitchen features high-quality appliances such as a dishwasher, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, and a Nespresso machine. The large dining table comfortably seats up to eight people.
The house has a total of four bedrooms and two comfortable bathrooms. Additionally, there is a large rooftop terrace and a garden of approximately 900 square meters with two more terraces and a herb garden.
Entertainment is provided by three smart TVs, Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth stereo system, and Netflix. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine, a steam iron, an ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner. For families, a high chair and a travel crib are also available.
The property features a lockable bike shed and three parking spaces. Fresh eggs for breakfast can be obtained from the property’s own chickens.
