After exiting the lift to the third floor, step into this holiday home and be met with a generous entrance foyer for stashing buckets and spades, parasols and windbreaks. Wander into the sociable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where an attractive living room offers plenty of sofa space to unwind. Keep your chosen chef company in the contemporary kitchen, where freshly caught seafood is the dish of the day. After serving up a feast at the table, head outside to bask in the sea air and gaze out over panoramic views of the river as you sip your favourite tipple. When the day’s adventure catches up with you, settle down for the night in one of two cheerful bedrooms; a lovely king-size with an en-suite and a charming twin with the option to be turned into a super-king. In the morning, freshen up with a soak in the tub, and start making your plans for the day.

Stroll down to the river at Looe, where stunning scenery, crab fishing and a children’s playground await. From here, travel half a mile to East Looe Beach, a popular coastal resort with a large sandy stretch with excellent swimming opportunities and plenty of great places to eat and drink. Grab a traditional Cornish pasty and wander along the harbour or hop on board the boat over to Looe Island to spot fascinating marine life and a number of seabirds, rare plants and a colony of grey seals. Enjoy a long walk along the South West Coast Path, which starts in the heart of Looe, before refuelling with a classic fish and chips at one of the award-winning restaurants.
