Papakea D404 is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo featuring amenities such as a washer/dryer, vaulted ceilings, and air-conditioning. Located on the fourth floor, this condo can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests with a King bed in the master bedroom bedroom, a King bed in the second bedroom, two Twin beds in the loft-style third bedroom, and a Queen sleeper sofa in the main living area. The open-concept living room features Hawaiian-theme furniture with tropical decorations and a large flat-screen TV. A split A/C and ceiling fan are equipped in the living room to help stay cool.
On the main floor, retreat to the serene master bedroom with a King-size bed and a ceiling fan. The master ensuite bathroom boasts a dual sink vanity space and a shower/tub combo. Down the hall is the second bedroom which has a King-size bed. The spacious guest bathroom features a walk-in shower. Upstairs is the loft-style third bedroom with a two Twin-size beds. Also located in the loft is the third bathroom with a walk-in shower. Pack light and take advantage of the unit's washer and dryer for added convenience.
Unwind and dine al fresco on the private lanai with a dining table for 4 and a lounge chair. Take in the view of the Pacific Ocean and the lush gardens. A dining table for 4 is equipped in the unit so you may enjoy the view from inside with large sliding doors and windows. The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with custom lighting, and overlay refrigerator, and full-size appliances. Ample counterspace makes meal prepping a breeze.
Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.

Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Dates and work areas are subject to change due to weather, tides, or field conditions. Please contact our office for complete details on the following resort improvement projects.
· Walkway Coating Project. Dates August–November 2026. Scope of work: Remove existing traffic coating, concrete repair and resurface preparation (including grinding), application of multi-coat traffic coasting system (each layer requires extended drying time). Work hours are 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri. During demolition, preparation, and repair work, walkways and the elevator will remain open to foot traffic. Occupants should expect construction noise and dust particularly during the grinding activities. During the walkway coating and drying time, AOAO staff will be stationed on the lanai side of the building to assist with screened access to occupied condos as the entry door will not be accessible. Work progression: Work will begin at the A building and work in building letter progression. Work on the D Bldg is slated for 9/1-9/11/2026.
· Phase I Seawall Repair Project. Dates August 10-September 2026. Scope of work: Replace rocks along the ocean side of the seawall and backfill the sinkholes that have developed adjacent to the seawall. General Construction work hours 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri. Ocean-Side Rock Restoration 6am to 7pm Mon-Fri depending on daily tide conditions. Work progression: Work will begin at the Lanai ocean side stairs area. Work will then progress from North to South, which is subject to change. Rock stacking will begin where ocean and beach conditions allow.

The condo is nice, it totally serves the purpose but for a few reasons, I wouldn't stay there again. It wasn't spotless as in dust and toys under the couches and in corners, socks under a bed. I don't think the cleaners really move anything to clean. The information available in the condo is written out by hand which is hard to read the handwriting. It was a nice place but just not really nice which is what I wanted. I always figure you want to stay in a place as nice or nicer than your home. The photos made me think this would be it but staying there made me realize it was a little tired. The main room is pretty small with the couches, chairs and table. There is no light over the table so playing games or doing a puzzle was not possible. Even eating at the table wasn't pleasant because of the lighting. We ate out on the lanai. The TV was a little complicated to run even by my millennial kids! The bedding and towels were great. The king size beds were nice and you can't beat the view from the master. The twin beds upstairs are not very comfortable and my 6'2" son was happy to leave them. The extra supplies like cooler and chairs were nice to use. The boogie board was broken but those are inexpensive. We had a nice time but I don't think I'd stay again. More because of the location and not really having a beach there to use. You have to drive to a beach. I also would like to be on the boardwalk so you can walk along the ocean's edge.

Great location, nice people. The A/C is a bit unusual (one unit in living room), but it works with fans and such. I would highly recommend.

Unit was as described, very spacious for our 4 adults and 2 kids. Beds were comfortable, upscale appliances and included beach and kitchen items made for a great stay. The view from the balcony is wonderful and bonus that it didn't get direct sunlight. Resort was conveniently located and walkable to restaurants, shops and grocery store.
