Good tidy home in an excellent city centre location. Short walk to King's Mile, Cathedral and other city centre locations. House was neat and tidy and had everything anyone would need to stay there. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Nice dining room and front sitting room. Nice decor. All rooms very comfortable. Bathroom suitable for 2 guests. The area where the house is located is very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. Good range of pubs and restaurants locally as well as some very interesting independent shops along the Kings Mile. Really enjoyed our stay here. Suited our needs well. The host was easy to communicate with and kept in contact with us throughout our stay.

Nothing really

The cottage was homely, clean and comfortable. We loved the character. Our host was very helpful, explaining about parking options and getting back to us promptly when we had queries. It was brilliantly situated for proximity to the city & attractions.

The cottage was very dark in the back rooms - we had to keep the lights on in the daytime - caused by the tall trees on the dark patio. Also, they caused a lot of leaf fall on the garden furniture and ground. It was not inviting to sit out unless we had spent some time sweeping and cleaning, which we didn't feel was our job. Parking was definitely an issue, very expensive in the city. We parked at the park and ride, which was inexpensive but a long way to walk every day.
