Higiene, conforto e simpatia

This was a last-minute booking as we were traveling north and not sure where we would get close to after a day of sightseeing. We spent a lot of time on our device trying to find somewhere in Coimbra that would work for us, and this place completely exceeded our expectations. This is a brand new, super clean and well stocked studio apartment across the river from the old town. The location allowed for easy, free parking and a reasonable walk (or short uber/bolt ride) across the bridge to the old town. Our host, Ana Maria was amazingly responsive, and able to meet us within a short timeframe at the apartment to give us the key and provide helpful information. She even was thoughtful enough to provide some fresh fruit and snacks, anticipating that we'd be tired after our drive. The apartment looks exactly like the photos, with a nice balcony to sit on that has a view to the University across the way. The apartment is in a newer constructed set of buildings, right behind a major shopping mall so there's easy access to shops/restaurants/supermarket if you don't want to venture too far. We were actually exhausted after a few days on the road, so we cooked a simple meal, had a good bottle of Portugues wine and relaxed in this cozy space. Although we only spent one night here, I would be very comfortable using this as a "home base" for a few days of exploring this region of Portugal. Thank you so much, Ana, for creating a wonderful space to spend some time.

Everything was great!
