The location was very convenient. The unit was decent size and clean. There was a large deck with nice views, which we didn't use because the weather was not conducive to it.

The primary issue with the property was communication. We don't speak Portuguese and the host didn't speak English. Bottom line is that if you don't speak the language AND you are planning to park a car, plan on an exasperating experience. Since we didn't have detailed arrival instructions and we had to meet our host to get the unit keys and parking pass, we had a hugely frustrating experience. Connecting with and understanding the host was challenging enough. There was literally no where to park a car to wait for the host to arrive. Check out instructions were also not clear which caused a major problem upon our departure. We were almost forced to pay a ransom to get the car out of the garage. Even if we did understand the process we would have faced the same issue trying to find a place to park the car while returning the unit keys and parking pass to the unit. None of this information was in writing (in any language). On a less significant note, we had an issue with the Nespresso coffee machine. There were explicit instructions about what pods to use/purchase (only 2 were provided). The instructions were WRONG! Coffee is an important part of a welcoming unit!
