Pink Door Cottage

Loved the situation. Liked that the bedrooms were down stairs and the sitting room over looked the gorge. Super kitchen, well equipped.

Nothing , although a handrail up the stairs would be helpful.

Return visit to this stunning cottage in beautiful Ironbridge. The host Sean ensures his guests are well looked after and the lovely little extras and welcome basket are so appreciated. The actual cottage is so comfortable, a lovely cosy little bolt hole with everything you could need. For me, the view from the cottage is simply stunning. Ironbridge is a charming little town with some lovely independent shops and eateries. There is also a gorgeous terrace to the back of the cottage that is completely private and is lovely to sit and relax when you have finished exploring. We took our 2 little dogs with us this time and they loved it,Sean even provided dog bowls and treats which was a nice surprise. The pink door cottage is simply lovely, comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen and like I say that view! It’s a lovely place to stay,relax and unwind.

I have to confess, I don’t really want to leave a review cos then everyone else will know how amazing the pink door cottage is! 😂Joking aside , it’s an absolute gem of a place. It’s so clean ,cosy and comfortable. A great place to relax and unwind with a stunning view that I could look at all day. The cottage is tastefully renovated with a large sitting room,a stunning dining room and what a kitchen! Add to that a private terrace to enjoy the peace and tranquility a gorgeous free standing bath and 2 comfy beds it’s no wonder I’ve booked to stay again. It’s in a perfect location to explore Ironbridge as everything is a short walk away. We were able to park outside the cottage which was perfect and we could have just parked up and not used the car again until it was time to leave however we wanted to explore a little and drove a few short miles away to visit the Wood Bridge Inn which is beautiful and Embers which is a quirky little smokehouse in the woods. Our host Sean was very communicative and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We couldn’t have been happier and the welcome basket was a lovely gesture. I cannot recommend the pink door cottage enough. It’s one of the nicest places I have stayed in.
