Ironbridge Tiny Hideaway

Excellent location with a fabulous view over the gorge and the Iron Bridge itself. Hot tub was fabulous and loved the atmospheric lighting on the path and decking. Bed was very comfortable and the facilities first class. Good choice of pubs and restaurants at the foot of the hill. It's a long way down though - and very good exercise climbing the many steps back up again. Parking was easy. Really quiet location - the church clock which chimed every quarter of an hour wasn't intrusive. Plenty to see and do in the area.

It's called the Tiny Hideaway for a reason. It is very compact. Whilst the bed was very comfortable, I suggest that the more slender person in a couple sleeps on the right as there's no more than a foot of floor to access from the foot of the bed and along the side. There's very little storage so living out of a suitase is essential. There are 3 unlabelled remote controls - 2 identical ones, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the bedroom which operate the blinds. The third, in the bedroom, controls the lights and canopy over the hot tub. As there is a big handle to wind the canopy in and out (which is hard work) knowing about that remote would have been very helpful. A simple note about these remotes in the information manual would be a good idea. There were no proper teaspoons - there were 3/4 size dessert spoons which made making coffee somewhat hit or miss. We bought a teaspoon for £1 in the antiques centre which we left for the next guests. However we did mention this to the owners (who were lovely!) and hopefully this will be rectified.

The setting looked amazing, lovely views, decor and furnishings. Upon arrival it felt really relaxing and comfortable. Comfortable bed, pillows and sofa. Hot tub was perfect temperature and private as described.

The blinds were not black out so could see the light come through in the morning and there was no door between the bedroom and the kitchen/living room so the lights from the cooker could be seen in bed at nightime. I would stay again but would need an eye mask unless black out blinds and lights from kitchen couldn't be seen. These were the only issues and the rest of the room and stay was great!

This was the perfect little spot, beautiful place to stay for a couple. The view of the Church and town was magnificent. We were also impressed by how clean the room was. Flawless. 10/10

The location was amazing and the accommodation was lovely. The hosts were fantastic, they were super friendly and very accommodating. The hot tub is incredible and well worth visiting just for that. I'd highly recommend staying here as it was perfect 🙂 The bottle of bubbly and the brownies were a great touch as well and we'll certainly be back. Thank you.
