Great town, nice people, comfortable facilities, great location.

Location is quiet and peaceful but in the center of the action Comfy bed Good storage areas as in wardrobe, drawers, suitcase nooks etc Well equipped

Facilities that promised washer/dryer failed. Washer was fine drying function failed which in mid winter and on a long journey was irritating. We tried everything to no avail.

Great location and peaceful

Very convenient for Ironbridge and all the museums. Close to the centre but very peaceful. Good, clear communications. Secure, padlocked car park 5 minutes walk, but you can stop nearby for 40 minutes to unload/load. Amazing, great quality hamper; best I’ve had anywhere.

Perfect little cottage in a beautiful town

Despite Bakers cottage being in the heart of Ironbridge it is tucked away down a quiet little lane with a quiet communal garden. It was a very comfortable little cottage with everything you need for a little break. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch as was the pork pie and soap which really made us feel at home. We loved Ironbridge and everything it had to offer. The shops are all independent and a joy to browse in, the beautiful little bookshop is a delight. There are plenty of places to eat, we highly recommend La Casita which serves excellent tapas. There is something to suit everyone including fish & chips which were some of the best we’ve tasted,ice cream & of course the famous pork pies! We will definitely book again,Thankyou for such a lovely stay.

My only niggle is the little outdoor seating area. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by the stunning hills & trees. A little bistro table would have been much appreciated. That’s just my opinion though & isn’t a criticism.

A lovely gem in the centre of Ironbridge

Stayed here a few times .. we love it! It’s a well equipped cottage everything you need in the centre of Ironbridge in a quiet area . Got a secure private car park a short distance from the cottage. We had a lovely welcome pack with Shropshire goodies in it we enjoyed.

Idyllic

Beautiful clean and comfortable cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous views from the balcony which is a real sun trap. Secure car parking is a real bonus. Ironbridge is a great place to stay and you can see the bridge from the property. Lots of local eating and drinking places and the Eley pies are superb. Will definitely return.

Lovely place and would definitely recommend to others, perfect for 2.

Very central easy access to restaurants, shops etc. When we had a problem it was resolved quickly. Host very polite and friendly. Very clean and everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Bed not very comfortable. We hadn’t realised the car was a walk away but it was secure. Flooring in the main lounge is lifting and could do with replacing, it didn’t affect us but could be a tripping hazard.

Would highly recommend this cottage for a quiet getaway.

Lovely comfortable cottage which is very well equiped and spacious enough for two people. Nicely decorated and everything included if you wanted to self cater. Great bathroom with bath & a double size walk in shower. Very close to the Iron Bridge and central to Ironbridge and restaurants & pubs. Secure parking just a short walk away & a small public car park very close which is free for half an hour while you drop your luggage at the cottage. This is one of the nicest cottages we have rented & would recommend it for a few days or a full weeks holiday. A super welcome hamper was waiting for us which is a really nice touch.

The only fault I could find was it wasn't clear where the bins were for the property so ended up putting our rubbish in a public bin.

A lovely place to stay in a great location.

The cottage is comfortable and tastefully decorated with good quality furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome hamper was a kind gesture. The location is nice and quiet and the little balcony/seating area, provides views across the valley, including the bridge itself . All in all, Bakers Cottage provides lovely holiday accommodation and we would definitely stay there again, if we were to return to Ironbridge.

Lovely short break

It had everything in it including dishwasher and washing machine.It was located slap bang in the middle of Ironbridge. It was so homely and comfortable. The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise.

Parking is in secure car park 400 metres away but this was better than being in a public car park.

Highly recommend!

Great bolthole for a couple exploring the area. Everything you need for a lovely cosy stay. Welcome pack was lovely and even included one of Eley's special pork pies in the fridge. Secure parking was a great bonus and even though it was a way up the road, you can park in the square's car park to drop off your bags & it's only a few yards up the back street to the property. We'll equipped kitchen & comfy settee to watch a film or go to one of the bars which there are a good few close by. Nice little place full of coffee shops, little unique shops and walks around the countryside. So quiet, we couldn't hear a thing even though it's only just behind the main street. Really enjoyed our stay even though the weather didn't hold out. Would highly recommend!

The only negative thing we could think of was that the windows in the living/kitchen area are skylight type in the roof and you have to stand on something to see out (Bridge view). Also anyone shorter than about 5'6" would struggle to open & Close them.
