"Kleiner Hookie" Vacation Home – Cozy, Modern, and Centrally Located in Hooksiel
Welcome to the "Kleiner Hookie," your charming vacation home in beautiful Hooksiel—ideal for 2–3 people. Well-behaved four-legged friends are also very welcome here!
The house is in a quiet yet central location—just a few minutes’ walk from the town center and the old harbor. Look forward to a modern, lovingly furnished apartment spread over two floors, offering everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
On the first floor, you’ll find a bright bathroom with a shower and washing machine, a dining area with a high chair, and a small, fully equipped kitchen. The cozy living room with satellite TV and a sleeper sofa invites you to relax. From here, you have direct access to the patio with a grill and the fenced-in garden—perfect for enjoying leisurely hours outdoors.
A space-saving staircase leads to the upper floor, which features a bedroom with a double bed. We’re happy to provide a travel crib for children upon request. All windows are equipped with exterior shutters.
A marked parking space directly in front of the house and a storage shed for bicycles are available. The quietly located property is fully fenced—ideal for families with children or dog owners.

The charming town center of Hooksiel invites you to stroll through its picturesque pedestrian zone, with shopping and restaurants, while a large EDEKA supermarket with a bakery at the town entrance offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The beach, located about 3 km away, is equipped with parking and beach chairs, and water skiing at the Hooksiel ski terraces provides plenty of action, while beautiful hiking and biking trails lead from the old harbor to the outer harbor and the beach.

The climatic health resort of Hooksiel (Zone 1) is subject to a visitor’s tax. Therefore, a visitor’s tax must be paid on site. This tax is based on the number of people, age, and length of stay. Information on the high and low seasons and the corresponding rates can be found on the Wangerland Touristik website.
The following are exempt from the visitor’s tax:
a) Children up to and including age 3.
b) Severely disabled persons whose “degree of disability” (formerly: reduced earning capacity) is 100% according to an official ID card.
c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance (marked with a “B” on the ID card). This means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g., GdB 80% and designation “B”).
d) Companions of severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance.
Additional services that can be booked directly with the landlord upon request for a separate fee:
- Crib/travel crib: €0.00 one-time fee
