Welcome to the "Auszeit" vacation rental – your cozy retreat on the first floor of a quiet apartment building in a central location in Hooksiel.
The bright and cheerfully furnished apartment features an open-concept living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchenette, a cozy sofa, and a dining table—perfect for relaxing. From here, you have direct access to the covered patio and the well-maintained garden—an ideal place to unwind.
One bedroom with a double bed and another with a single bed provide space for couples or small families. The modern bathroom features a shower and toilet.

Hooksiel’s charming town center invites you to stroll through its picturesque pedestrian zone, shops, and restaurants, while a large EDEKA supermarket with a bakery at the town entrance offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The beach, located about 3 km away, is equipped with parking and beach chairs, and water skiing at the Hooksiel ski terraces provides plenty of action, while beautiful hiking and biking trails lead from the old harbor to the outer harbor and the beach.

The climatic health resort of Hooksiel (Zone 1) is subject to a visitor’s tax. Therefore, a visitor’s tax must be paid on site. This tax is based on the number of people, their ages, and the length of stay. Information on the high and low seasons and the corresponding rates can be found on the Wangerland Touristik website.
The following are exempt from the visitor’s tax:
a) Children up to and including age 3.
b) Severely disabled persons whose “degree of disability” (formerly: reduced earning capacity) is 100% according to an official ID card.
c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance (marked with a “B” on the ID card). This means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g., GdB 80% and designation “B”).
d) Companions of severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance.
Additional services that can be booked directly with the landlord upon request for a separate fee:
