Outside, there is ample off-road parking and a shared communal garden with seating. A travel cot and highchair are available. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. It is a bustling community with many small businesses, a pub that serves fantastic food and frequently holds events, a coffee shop, a hair salon, and a library. Being the oldest structure in the community, the parish church is well worth a visit. It has a long and interesting history and has been standing since 633 AD. In recent years, Lyminge has been the subject of numerous archaeological excavations, during which jewellery, weaponry, and glassware have all been found.
