About this docked boat rental
🌊 Your Accommodation – Welcome to your floating vacation home
Welcome aboard our Campi houseboat—your small, cozy vacation home that not only sits on the water but also moves. And it moves with you! The boat features 28 square meters of living space plus a 9-square-meter rooftop terrace. It’s modernly furnished, cleverly designed, and offers everything you need for a relaxing adventure on the waters around Berlin and Brandenburg.
Before you set sail, there’s a detailed, approximately two-hour orientation session with a test run to ensure you feel confident and understand how the boat works. The Campi 300 doesn’t require a boating license, is easy to steer, and is ideal for anyone who’s always wanted to be a captain for a day—without the stress of a test.
In the living area, you’ll find a cozy fold-out couch (approx. 1.40 x 1.95 m), which serves as a chill-out zone during the day with a view of the water. The kitchenette features two gas burners, a sink, a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, and hot water. Dishes, glasses, cutlery, a coffee maker, and basic spices are provided on board—and yes, cooking on a boat is surprisingly enjoyable.
The bathroom is small, functional, and fully equipped: an electric toilet (please use only the special toilet paper we provide), a shower, and a sink with storage space. In the bedroom, you’ll find a cozy double bed (approx. 130 x 200 cm) and a narrower loft bed (70 x 200 cm) above it (suitable for older children, as it has no safety rails).
Three radiators ensure that it stays nice and warm even on cooler days. In the sleeping cabin, a screen ensures a mosquito-free night’s sleep.
The boat has two exits, one at the front and one at the back, and a great rooftop deck with lounge furniture—perfect for coffee in the morning, wine in the evening, and everything in between. A swim ladder makes it easy to jump right into the water.
🚤 Important Information About the Trip
You don’t need a boating license to operate the boat, but please do not navigate into downtown Berlin—there is a strict no-boating zone there.
Anchoring is permitted on many lakes, but we also recommend using marinas for safe overnight stays.
Refilling water, refueling with gasoline and gas, and pumping out the holding tank must be done independently and at your own expense at suitable harbors or marinas.
A €700 security deposit must be paid in cash at check-in.
You’ll spend the night, sail, anchor, and explore—and yes, the boat will rock more or less depending on the weather. That includes a few curious spiders or beetles who think they’ve taken over the dock. That’s just nature.
We look forward to welcoming you to your temporary floating home—and to sending you off, relaxed, on your own little water adventure.
