Lavish 2-BDR Apartment - Prime Central Location - Free Wi-Fi

The apartment was great - exactly as in the photos provided. Clean, comfortable, easy access to 7th floor via lift, all kitchen appliances worked as expected, apartment was relatively cool given the intense heatwave during our stay and the 2 standing fans provided were very helpful given the weather!

The payment process was stressful. The day before our stay I was asked via Booking.com message to withdraw money to pay for stay in exchange for keys, but then the morning of our stay I was asked to pay via bank transfer before I could be sent the check-in instructions, with no explanation of the reason behind the change. This change of instruction was alarming, I was concerned that it could be a scam. It is not stated on the listing page who runs the apartment, so on the morning of our stay while still awaiting a response to my query, I spoke with Booking.com who e-mailed those overseeing the property rental, and they came back to me to clarify that the payment method was flexible. I went with paying in cash as had already withdrawn the money as instructed, and a bit later I was provided with full check-in instructions which finally put me at ease. In the end everything was fine, I met the cleaners (who were lovely) outside the property and handed over cash and received the fobs and key. But the payment process needs to be clearer without contradicting messages, and stated further in advance before each stay, to prevent others feeling such stress. Also - one of the blinds was missing, in the smaller bedroom. This luckily wasn't an issue for me personally, and cleaner Aaran did mention this issue when we paid/received keys, but nobody came out to fit a new blind during our stay. Hopefully a new blind is fitted as soon as possible for those renting the property next as I know others would not be as easy-going as myself in terms of light and privacy.
