Brilliant place and very patient host. Highly recommend!

In a busy city, it was remarkably quiet. Not one sound was heard to disturb us, either by traffic or other residents. Nice & clean. Open plan style, so everything was at your fingertips. Not cramped or dingy. Light & welcoming. Not a problem to find or park.

A few more towels would’ve been nice… but no biggy.

Good location and good size apartment

The listing advertised free parking with no reservation required, but after booking we were informed there was no free parking available and had to pay £28 for parking ourselves. Shortly after arrival, the host informed us that contractors needed access to the apartment during our stay to change blinds. We explained that morning access was inconvenient and agreed on 13:00, yet contractors still arrived around 10:40. This disrupted our plans completely, caused us to miss a pre-arranged breakfast with friends and delayed our day. The host apologised but then shifted responsibility back onto us rather than properly resolving the issues. Overall, inaccurate listing information and unnecessary disruption significantly affected what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, not an experience I would book again. Washing machine was full of soaking wet laundry and it really smelled bad. Wardrobe full of some suitcases. Eventually problem was sorted by host offering to cover up parking fee and partial refund for distribution.

The value for money is excellent, as you get a massive apartment right in the heart of the city center. While there are minor cosmetic flaws like smudged walls or marks on the furniture, it feels like a very "honest" and solid place to stay for the price.

The main issue was the parking; it was advertised as free, but physical barriers on the road made it unavailable. While there are affordable paid options nearby, it was a bit frustrating to have to work around that when expecting a free space.
