Townhouse, Sleeps 4 - 2 Min Walk to The Harbour!

The property was exactly as described, lovely compact kitchen living room, with everything you need, and a lovely large bathroom and bedroom, had plenty of space to relax and get ready for the wedding we were attending. The place was clean tidy. The location was right in the centre of town, walking distance to everything. We parked out car at Hillsborough car park, and it was a easy 15min walk along the sea front to the house. Would highly recommend to anyone, who is looking for a nice compact space to spend time in Ilfracombe.

The place was a little nosiy with outside noises, but being on the Highstreet this cant be helped. Maybe a little soundproofing would be nice. BUT this did not disturbed from our lovely stay.

Apart from the stairs I was happy with the property and would recommend it to the young. The owner offered to come and meet me at Barnstaple station which was very kind of him. Unfortunately the trains were terribly late and instead of arriving at 5.30 pm it was 8 pm before I got there. The owner said he comes and picks up anybody from the station.

The stairs were very steep and difficult for a 75 year old pensioner. The property was at the top of a very steep hill and was difficult for me even though I am reasonably fit and active for my age. This message is for Booking.com and owners of properties. There is never any information when you come to book saying if there is a lift in hotels, where the property is situated eg no buses or hills to climb and I spend ages and ages looking for this information and often you are unable to contact anybody about this. Please put this right Booking.com
