The Downtown Largo do Carmo

This is one of the best apartments I have stayed in. It was a last minute booking after our flight to Catania was cancelled and Felipe responded immediately to our request. The apartment is large and well equipped with high-end furniture and fixtures. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate with lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. The major plus was the air conditioning which kept the flat at a comfortable temperature. Felipe left the most generous welcome pack of groceries, and a good selection coffee and chocolate capsules for the Nespresso machine. The property looks out over a beautiful square and is only a five minute walk into the centre of Faro where there are a good selection of restaurants and bars. The bus station and train stations are a ten minute walk and there is a small supermarket a couple of steps away from the front entrance to the building .

There was nothing that we didn’t like. Maybe a small table beside the couch in the living area would have been handy for putting glasses on but that is only a minor niggle.

Great location , facilities were very good , modern and clean with all the modern appliances and amenities required

Fabulous apartment with lots of space, and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the AC. The welcome pack including champagne was a lovely touch.

Very minor things: soap and toiletries weren’t filled up and the showers could do with a tray for soap.
